Warranty
Product life
It is important to note that all bike products have a limited product service life which is determined by many factors including usage rate, rider and system weight, correct assembly, materials and processes, impact damages, product design and environmental conditions. All these variables contribute to the service life of the product. We recommend bikes with Litebike products are serviced and examined regularly for early signs of product fatigue.
Intended use
All Litebike products are designed for their intended purpose as specified. If products are used in any manner other than its original intended use, or without careful installation, this could lead to injury. Using a product for a purpose other than its intended use voids this warranty immediately.
Two-year limited warranty
We provide a limited two-year warranty for original owners of Litebike products beginning from the date of purchase from this website. This warranty covers all manufacturing defects and craftsmanship for the duration of this period.
To qualify for this warranty, the original owner must register their product within 21 days of purchase via the ‘contact us’ page on this website. In the message description please provide your name, order number and details of the product(s) you would like to register for warranty.
When a product is confirmed defective following inspection and still within the warranty coverage period, it will be replaced or repaired at the sole discretion of Litebike at no charge.
Unfortunately, products not registered cannot be covered by our warranty. Our warranty covers all manufacturing defects and craftsmanship. It does not include damage caused from crashes or accidents, incorrect installation, and other forms of mishandling or misusing the product.
Our products are performance-engineered and require careful installation. Carbon products should ideally be hand-tightened and never tightened above the max torque setting.
Our warranty does not extend to accessories (such as bar tape, bottle cages, and TPU inner tubes).
Claims procedure
Warranty claims should be made through the ‘contact us’ page on this website. Customers will need to provide us with proof of purchase, their contact details and a detailed description of the issue.
Any product returned to Litebike under warranty for inspection must be packed carefully and shipped using a tracked service.
